ction was targeted to start in March 2020. But, because of COVID-19, PT. MRT Jakarta restricted number of employees who working on physical construction."For now, the main work of Phase 2 is designing the project through work from home (WFH) scheme," she conveyed, Thursday (3/26).
Jakartans, Please Use MRT for Urgent Needs Amid Coronavirus OutbreakAccording to her, WFH scheme is implemented in accordance with government's instruction to do activities from home and reduce activities outside due to COVID-19 outbreak in Jakarta.
"Only a very minimal physical work that we can do, such as soil investigation, because it involves a very minimal number of workers and supervisors," she mentioned.
Recently, her side carries out the work with mitigation measure to monitor workers' health conditions. This health monitoring refers to the COVID-19 Prevention Protocol in Construction Work which implemented by Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Ministry's Construction Directorate General.
"We also implement the protocol to prevent COVID-19 transmission in PT. MRT Jakarta office," she closed.
